Master SERP+ Programme

Technology, Instrumentation and Materials for Energy and Environment

Content

The characteristics of the materials which are used in industry as adsorbents (for separation and/or purification of liquid and gaseous flows) and as catalysts (acid and besic solid catalysts, catalysts for hydrogenation, total and partial oxidation, steam reforming) are described. Relevant techniques for characterization of such solids are also described and discussed. The materials include pure, mixed and supported metal oxides, sulfides and halides, bulk and supported metals, zeolites, active carbons, MOFs and COFs.
